Before Oren wrote software for a living, he sat at kitchen tables with Miami casino workers as an organizer with UNITE HERE Local 355. Since then he has built products from scratch to scale, including a fundraising platform that has now moved over $1B for nonprofits. As TWL's first in-house engineering hire, he leads the team behind CIRCUIT, the AI member-service assistant built with SEIU 503, and No Grocery Lines, which turned thousands of UFCW 3000 understaffing reports into a 97% strike authorization. Oren believes the systems that govern working people's lives should be shaped by the people who use them. Outside of work, he spends time with his partner and their amazing children, and travels whenever he can.
