Gabby Seay is the Founder of Seay Strategies, a social impact consulting firm that helps campaigns, companies, and causes organize communities, win elections, and build lasting relationships with supporters. Her work focuses on advancing political, social, and economic power in communities of color. She has helped launch organizations like BlackPAC and Grow Our Vote, partnered with groups such as AFROPUNK, Planned Parenthood, and Autism Speaks, and trained hundreds of organizers and advocates through initiatives with Cornell University and other institutions.
Previously, Gabby served as Political Director for 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, the nation’s largest local union, where she led political, legislative, and policy work across six states and managed a 50-person team that spearheaded the union’s COVID response and major mobilizations. A veteran of local and national campaigns, she began organizing in college and went on to serve as President Barack Obama’s Ohio Political Director in 2012. Gabby is a graduate of the University of Toledo and proudly calls Brooklyn, NY home.
