What We're Asking:

  • With the 10-week curriculum in its current form, do the learning components generate the technical skill mastery necessary for graduate apprentices to succeed on the jobsite with minimal to no supervision? Does the learning series provide the advocacy training necessary to employ Women, Black and other People of Color with the skills they need to address acts of discrimination they might face on real-world jobsites? Are there qualities, competencies, personality traits that can be screened for prior to entry in the apprenticeship series that determine a candidate?s long term fit for the construction trades?
